This year, Notonthehighstreet.com will hold its first ever Colour Saturday – a day dedicated to celebrating the colour small creative businesses bring to Scotland and the UK and later this morning we will be in the Grassmarket to get some photos of the launch event. It involves colour confetti so it might be messy!
The campaign begins in Edinburgh today with the launch of a bespoke five-metre interactive digital Christmas tree made up of 43 light boxes, showcasing a selection of products and stories from small creative businesses based in and around the Edinburgh and across Scotland.
Throughout the week, members of the public are invited to join the ‘Colour Saturday’ campaign socially via an interactive competition for thoughtful gifts via the Colour Saturday Instagram Tree @ColourSaturday.
On Saturday 5th December, you are invited to attend the day of ‘colour’ in the Grassmarket.
