Hibs’ Head coach Alan Stubbs is looking forward to facing Queen of the South on Saturday after last weeks draw with Falkirk. Despite dropping two points, Hibs did not lose any ground to league leaders Rangers after coming from behind to equalise in the dying minutes with only nine men on the pitch.
John McGinn’s red card in the game has since been downgraded to a yellow meaning that he will be available for selection while there will be late fitness tests for several players.
Stubbs told Hibs TV: “We are certainly looking forward to it. we go into it buoyed from last week’s result and performance and the way it all turned out at the end.
“It was a well earned point. It felt more than that with the manner in which we achieved it in the end.
“It showed a different side to us which I knew we had We were full of energy, desire, and will not to be beat and from my point of view and from the teams point of view it was great.
“I think it will be tough as we know Queen of the South really well. We know they have good players in the team that can contribute towards causing an upset if we are not up to our best.
“We want to put a good performance on, we want to win the game ultimately, and then move onto our next game.
“We will have late calls on Marvin (Bartley), Dylan (McGeouch) and Farid (El Alagui). Izzy (Islam Feruz) come back into the squad after missing a few days with a cold. apart from that we are where we were last weekend.
