Scotland reached the elite round of this season’s European Women’s Under-19 Championship with a 4-2 victory over Albania in Austria.
Having defeated Ukraine just 48 earlier, Gareth Evans’ side got off to a flying start, scoring twice inside the opening 20 minutes with goals from Hibs’ star Liz Tweedie and Kirsty Howat.

Scotland and host-nation Austria have confirmed their place in the elite round, with both sides accumulating six points from their two matches in Group 11. The two teams meet each other on Sunday to determine who wins the group, but both sides will be in the elite round when it takes place next spring.
