Hibs Head Coach Alan Stubbs refused to take any credit for his ‘inspired’ substitution of Saturday which brought immediate dividends when Jason Cummings grabbed the only goal of the game 30 seconds after replacing Marvin Bartley.

Speaking after the game Stubbs said: “Today it worked, another day it may not, but Jason (Cummings) deserves the credit, not me. He’s been in the right place at the right time and he’s finished it emphatically.”

“Sometimes when you’re left out you feel sorry for yourself but his attitude was what I wanted to see. “
Stubbs was clearly happy to see the back of a week that was dominated by the on/off transfer saga involving Scott Allan and now he is determined to see the club progress with on-loan Liam Henderson poised to take over from Allan in the supporters affections.
He continued: “It’s been a turbulent few weeks and now we move on as a football club, I feel as though we’ve done the right thing in the interests of the club. We wish Scott all the best and there’s no animosity towards him whatsoever.”
