Police are appealing for information following a serious assault and robbery in Hanover Street.
The incident occurred on Thursday, June 25, around 3.15am when a male suspect attacked a 24-year-old man outside Bar Skoba in Hanover Street.
He sustained head and facial injuries as a result of the attack and during the incident his wallet and watch were also stolen.
Officers are now appealing for information regarding this incident.
The suspect is described as a man with tanned complexion, possibly of South American descent.
He was wearing a dark coloured baseball cap back to front, a black coloured bomber jacket, dark jeans and grey trainers.
Detective Constable John Dunn said: “This was a brutal attack which has resulted in the victim has sustaining serious injuries, which will have a long-term effect of his well-being.
“It is crucial that we trace this suspect as soon as possible. Anyone who saw this man in the Hanover Street area on Thursday, or has any other information, is asked to contact police immediately.”
