Jason Cummings has won his second Scottish Professional Football League young player of the month award of the season.
The teenage striker scored four times last month including the winner against Dumbarton, the opener against Hearts in a 2-0 win, the second in a 3-1 win over Livingston and the third in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Alloa Athletic.
His total for the season is an impressive 19.
On Saturday Hibs face Falkirk knowing that a win will secure second place in the Championship and a place in the Premiership play-off semi-final.
Hibs are a point ahead of Rangers, who face champions Hearts knowing that they have to win to have any chance of overtaking Alan Stubbs’ side.
The team that finishes third will face fourth-placed Queen of the South in the play-off quarter-final, with the winner progressing to play the league’s runners-up.
The winners of that game will face the team finishing second bottom of the Premiership in the final.
