Hibs’ youngsters Jason Cummings and Danny Handling (pictured) have both been named in the Scotland under-21 squad for the upcoming friendly against Hungary in Budapest on Thursday 26 March.
This will be Cummings first call-up into the under-21 squad and arrives after he scored his 15th overall goal of the season against Cowdenbeath which means that the 19-year-old currently tops the Scottish Championship’s goal chart with 13.
Handling, 21, has previously been capped twice at under-21 level.
Both players are graduates of the Hibernian Academy and have subsequently made an impact at first team level.
Over the past 13 years the following 15 Academy graduates have been capped at Scotland under-21 level:
