Scotland’s leading care and housing provider, Bield, has announced its New Year’s resolution to staff, tenants and customers.
In this year’s Christmas message, Chief Executive, Brian Logan, talks of the numerous visits made by himself, the Senior Management Team and Board Members to various developments in Ayr and Glasgow throughout last year and the plan to make even more of them in 2015.
The visits were a huge success allowing staff, tenants, service users, and management to work more collaboratively with lots of important feedback being given and many new initiatives being put in place as a result
Brian and his team are now looking to kick start 2015 with more trips to developments based in the 23 local authority areas in which Bield operates.
Visiting various developments has allowed Brian and his team to listen first-hand to any feedback on how well Bield is doing and what staff, tenants and service users feel should be in Bield’s next five year plan.
Brian said: “One of the best parts of my job is getting out and about and meeting staff and those who use our services, whether they be day care service users, residents in one of our care homes or tenants in one of our developments.
“Visiting developments in Ayr and Glasgow in 2014 was a great success and has allowed us to use the feedback we received from the most valuable people within our organisation and implement this feedback in a positive way within Bield.
“As a result, I am keen that we increase the number of these visits in 2015 to ensure that we are listening as much as possible to those who matter most.
“At Bield, we are always looking to enrich the lives of those who use our services and I believe if we continue to listen and learn from the feedback we receive from our staff, tenants and service users, we will continue to evolve, improve and become a better organisation.”
