The Edinburgh Reporter was absolutely delighted to meet up with some of the Soweto Spiritual Singers appearing at this year’s Underbelly. They are an acapella and instrumental group who sing with such wonderful harmony and rhythm. They are an uplifting bunch of people who have travelled the world extensively bringing their music to many countries.
They were part of the FIFA 2010 World Cup Opening Ceremony in Johannesburg and their shouting, dancing, clapping and drumming will have you swaying in your seats if not also dancing in the aisles.
