Michael Grady

Police in Edinburgh are appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing in the Capital.

Michael Grady was last seen within the Leith area of the city at around 10pm yesterday (Wednesday) and is then believed to have been in the Gorgie/Dalry area at around 5.30am this morning.

However, the 21-year-old has not been seen or heard from since and concern is now growing for his welfare.

Anyone who can assist in tracing Michael is asked to come forward.

He is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall with a slim build, brown eyes and brown hair. Michael was last seen wearing a black nylon jacket, grey sweater, brown jeans and white trainers, although he may have since changed his clothing.

Inspector Nigel Thacker said: “We are keen to trace Michael as soon as possible and ensure he is safe and well.

“Any members of the public who believe they can help us establish his current whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.

“I would also ask that Michael get in touch with family, friends, or with police to let us know he is alright.”
