Hibs’ ladies football coach Morgan Lynn has died after falling from the balcony of her fifth-floor hotel room in Spain.
The 25 year old was on holiday in Benidorm with two female friends when the tragedy occurred.
Local police and the Foreign Office said Ms Lynn, left, who lives in Edinburgh, fell from a balcony at around 3am on Thursday 27 February after she and her companions returned to the Hotel Gala Placidia where they were staying.
Ms Lynn graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2009 with an HND in Business Management. Last year, she played for Women’s Division Two football team Musselburgh Windsor.
A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are providing consular assistance to the family at this sad time.”
