The Centre, Livingston is getting ready to launch Christmas with a magnificent light show and a headline performance from percussion artists, Slam.
The festive countdown will commence with a spectacular Magic of Light display launched from Elements Square showcasing a mix of lighting effects – Christmas-themed, colour-changing tubes that pulse in time to music.
Shoppers are invited to come along and enjoy the specially selected Christmas-scented bubble machines with a shimmer effect focal point, whilst snowflake confetti turns the mall floor into a winter wonderland.
The evening will also be the first unveiling of Santa arriving to his Grotto in The Centre, making this an evening full of free family fun.
The lighting show will be interspersed throughout the evening by a high-energy, maximum impact drumming show set to wow the crowds, as well as entertainment from bands Little Eye and The Ganda Boys. The Slam drumming team will create a buzz throughout the mall with a stage performance incorporating musical styles using a variety of objects to stunning effect.
The mall will also host reindeer from Five Sisters Zoo and candy floss and popcorn tricycles will be offering refreshments.
The Centre’s Step Into Christmas event will take place on 14th November from 4:30pm until 8pm.
David Gallagher, centre manager at The Centre, Livingston, said: “We’re thrilled to launch the countdown to Christmas with our exciting lighting show guaranteed to inject some magic into the festive season.
