Tickets are now on sale to see the Forth Valley Chorus barbershop singers perform a charity concert at Kirkliston Parish Church on the evening of Friday 29th November 2013.

The Forth Valley Chorus is composed of over 90 women who sing unaccompanied four-part close harmony music, with sparkly costumes and lively choreography to match.  They have a wide repertoire including barbershop, pop and jazz.

They are currently the champion chorus in the UK and ranked 11th internationally. In November 2014 they are heading off to Baltimore, USA, to represent Great Britain at the Sweet Adelines International Convention.

Proceeds from the evening will support the Queensferry Care charity and its work supporting the older people of South Queensferry and the surrounding area.

David Pomfet, Chairman of Queensferry Care, said:-“Forth Valley Chorus will be entertaining us to a wonderful mixture of jazz, pop, gospel, songs from the shows and standards with their unique blend of enthusiasm and energy. It will a night of high quality singing, and great fun for audience and singers alike and I am very much looking forward to their performance.”

Tickets are £8, but £7 for seniors (65+) and £6 for juniors (up to 18).  Tickets can be purchased by phoning 0131 331 5570 or by visiting http://qccc.eventbrite.co.uk/  The concert will start at 7:30pm.
