In January 2013 Taylor & Leigh won Celtic Connections Danny Kyle emerging talent award.
Taylor & Leigh in association with AMC events will be playing the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as part of The Danny Kyle Celtic Connections Stage. The one night only event will take place on Wednesday 7th August at Venue 123, St Bride’s Hall, 10 Orwell Terrace, Edinburgh.
The music night will re-create the line-up of Celtic Connections Finalists for new talent from 2013. The gig will act as a precursor to next years Celtic Connections Festival where each of the bands will be returning to support a headline act. Taylor & Leigh will be performing with Kenyan born Genesee and Mulk.
Taylor & Leigh are an acoustic duo from Edinburgh and Manchester who write a blend of Country Blues and Americana. Their music has been used on TV for CNN’s Guide to Edinburgh and to promote Ken Loach’s Aye Fond Kiss, as well as incidental music for the STV production The Hour. Taylor & Leigh are currently promoting their latest album Throw Them To The Wolves, which is available on iTunes.
