Police Scotland

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses following a road collision in West Lothian.

The incident happened around 10.40am today on the B9080 Linlithgow to Kirkliston Road, near Winchburgh Bing.   A 79-year-old male cyclist was travelling west when he was involved in a collision with a lorry.  He is currently receiving treatment at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for serious injuries.

Police inquiries are continuing and anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police immediately on 101.
