Edinburgh Airport gets its feet tapping to the jazz beat
Edinburgh Airport is getting musical as a sponsor of this year’s Jazz and Blues Festival which kicks off today in the capital.
To celebrate, Scotland’s busiest airport welcomed The California Honeydrops to the terminal this morning, delighting and entertaining passengers with a fantastic live set. The band, a free-spirited group from San Francisco, treated the thousands of passengers passing through to a soulful few hours, leaving everyone in an infectious feel-good mood.
Indeed, this year’s sponsorship of the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival is just one part of Edinburgh Airport’s overarching commitment to supporting a wide range of cultural and community events in and around the capital.
In addition to being a major sponsor of the Royal Highland Show at Ingliston, the airport remains increasingly active in its local community, providing financial help to a number of deserving local causes, from bowling clubs to scout groups.
