The Lord President of the Court of Session, Lord Gill, will give evidence to the Justice Committee about proposed changes to Scottish Court Services, and a petition seeking an independent investigation into the conviction in 2001 of Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi will be considered.

Today at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh you can find out how to grow your own vegetables, and perhaps get an update on what you should be doing in your own garden or allotment right now. A petition has been started to try and lobby the Royal Navy to send HMS Edinburgh back to the capital rather than decommissioning the ship which has come to the end of its life. You can find out more here. The petition is here and has already attracted almost 500 signatures.
