This Easter a Circus with a difference is rolling into Edinburgh – a one day only circus extravaganzaLooking for something to do as a family this Easter? Why not go to a circus with twist? On Tuesday 26 March 2013 from 1pm to 5pm, The Big Top Fundraiser will be held in Edinburgh Corn Exchange in aid of Edinburgh Sick Kids Friends Foundation.

The Big Top Fundraiser is a circus themed, fun-filled afternoon for the entire family, being organised by seven second year Event Management students from Queen Margaret University. They are planning an unconventional circus that will blow spectators minds.

Stefanie Anderson, one of the event organisers said, ‘This event promises to be enjoyable for the whole family, and is something different to do while kids are off over the Easter Holidays.’

‘There will be plenty of opportunities to meet and take photos with the wide variety of circus performers on show and our special guests, members of the Edinburgh Rugby squad.’

Throughout the event there will be chances to win amazing prizes which have been kindly donated by sponsors; some of which include Murrayfield Stadium and Venture-Photography.

Stefanie went on to say, ‘Edinburgh Sick Kids is a very important charity in Edinburgh and the surrounding area, they do everything they can to help sick children and their families. It’s a privilege to be able to donate all of our proceeds from The Big Top Fundraiser to them.’

‘We are still looking for potential sponsors, so if you would like to get involved contact us at qmuevents2012@gmail.com, to find out what we can do for you in return for your sponsorship.’

Tickets for this event are available online at www.thebigtopfundraiser.moonfruit.com with prices ranging from £7.50 to £15. For more updates check out The Big Top Fundraiser on Facebook.
