Scottish Water has reported that there are a couple of burst water mains in the city today. Their recent tweet confirmed the provision of bottled water for some residents.

Work to repair the burst water mains located across Edinburgh is still underway. Our engineers are on site and are working hard to restore supplies to those customers affected as soon as possible. Apologies for the delay.

Burst water main has been located at Bellenden Gardens in Edinburgh. Customers here may experience loss of water supply, low pressure, and discoloured water. A squad is on site to carry out the necessary repairs and will restore supplies as soon as possible.
