Asda Edinburgh has flipped fluffy treats fit for royalty, as Prince Harry and Meghan arrive in the city on Pancake Day.

The bakery at Asda has created special edition crown shaped pancakes in honour of the newly engaged couple’s appearance. And the team are wearing their own Prince Harry and Meghan face masks so customers aren’t let down if the couple don’t have time to pop in to the store.

Andrew Midgley, Store Manager at Asda Edinburgh, said: “Prince Harry and Meghan have been the talk of the town for months but their visit to Edinburgh has got us reaching new levels of excitement.

“We have a number of colleagues who are big fans of both of them so we thought why not get involved and do something fun for their visit to the city – and what better way to celebrate than with royal pancakes on Pancake Day!

“We’re not giving up hope on them popping in either. After all, where else will they get crown shaped pancakes other than at Asda Edinburgh!”
