Hibs defender Warren O’Hora praised the team’s character after yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Motherwell at Easter Road.

Both sides created good chances in an entertaining game at Easter Road but Hibs ultimately came away with a point after Kieron Bowie scored an equaliser around the 70-minute mark.

When speaking to Hibs TV, O’Hora analysed the game and admitted Hibs could’ve shown more quality in the final third.

“In the end it was probably a fair result. In the first half I thought we did well, and had a few transitions where we were just missing that quality in the final action.

“Motherwell were always going to have a little bit more of the ball, but I felt like when we had it, we looked more dangerous.

“Credit to the team because we went 1-0 down after a transition but responded with an equaliser and pushed for a goal to win it.

“We were all dead on our feet at the end of it, it was open come the end, but like I say, a point was a fair result.”

Despite being on top and creating a number of half chances, Hibs fell behind in the game, but responded from that adversity well and ultimately found an equaliser. O’Hora believes that shows the belief and mentality of the group.

“It shows the character we’ve got. We always go until the end. A goal can change things, but we went after it and scored a good goal. Dan’s switch really opened the door for us and Kieron put the ball in the net, which is what he’s been doing for us.

“We showed character but know we can be better. We take the point and move on.”
