Nine Hibs players will be on international duty over the October international break.
Grant Hanley & Kieron Bowie – Scotland
Both Grant Hanley and Kieron Bowie have kept their places in Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
Hanley has 63 international caps to date, including keeping a valuable clean sheet against Denmark last month, whilst Bowie will be hoping to add to the solo cap which he picked up in June against Liechtenstein.
Scotland have two huge fixtures – taking on Greece (Thursday 9 October) and Belarus (Sunday 12 October) at Hampden Park – in a bid to qualify for our first World Cup since 1998.
The Scots currently sit joint top of Group C, with four points from two games so far.
Jordan Obita – Uganda
Jordan Obita is also in the middle of an exciting World Cup qualifying campaign and has been called up to represent Uganda again.
Uganda currently sit second in Group G, four points behind Algeria, with two games to play.
The Cranes take on Botswana on Thursday, before travelling to Algeria for what could be a crucial fixture in the race for automatic qualification.
Obita has earned four caps since declaring to play for Uganda in June earlier this year!
Martin Boyle – Australia
Martin Boyle has been named in the Socceroos squad for their upcoming international friendlies with Canada and the United States.
Boyle will be hoping to add to his 36 caps and 21 goal contributions he has already made for Australia.
The Socceroos have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup and have since begun their preparations for the tournament – taking on Canada in Montreal on Saturday, before facing the USA in Denver on Wednesday 15 October.
Rocky Bushiri – DR Congo
The World Cup dream for Rocky Bushiri and DR Congo is still on track. Rocky has been called up again to represent The Leopards for their final two group stage matches of the campaign.
DR Congo currently sit second, two points behind Senegal and will play Togo on Friday (10 October) before hosting Sudan on Tuesday (14 October).
Thibault Kildjé – Togo
Rocky could face up against his Hibs teammate Thibault Klidjé, who has been called up to represent Togo!
He has 20 international caps to his name already – scoring two goals – and will be hoping to add to that tally against DR Congo and South Sudan.
Rudi Molotnikov – Scotland U21s
Rudi Molotnikov has earned his first call-up to the Scotland Under-21 National side!
The youngster has represented Scotland at U17 and U19 level, and now makes the step up into Scott Gemmill’s Under 21 side for their upcoming European Championship Qualifying campaign.
The young Scots host Gibraltar at Dens Park on Thursday before travelling to Baku to play Azerbaijan on Tuesday!
Joseph McGrath & Lewis Gillie – Scotland U19s
Academy youngsters Joseph McGrath and Lewis Gillie have both been named in Neil MacFarlane’s Scotland U19 squad for their upcoming double-header of friendlies against Italy.
Scotland will be hosted at the Antonio Molinari Stadium and the Stadio Mario Lancellotta for the two games, which takes place on Friday 10 October and Monday 13 October.
