Hibs have announced the backroom team that will support first team manager Marink Reedijk.

Reedijk will be joined by Rogier Molhoek as Performance Manager, while Brian McLaughlin joins as First Team Coach.

Scott Thomson has stepped up from his role within the Hibernian Academy to become First Team Goalkeeping Coach, with Guillaume Beuzelin also moving into the First Team set-up as Individual Development Plan Coach.

Rogier Molhoek – Performance Manager

Molhoek has previously worked closely with Reedijk, joining his coaching staff at SK Beveren in October 2024.

The former midfielder made more than 250 professional appearances during his playing career, representing FC Dordrecht, RKC Waalwijk, AZ Alkmaar, NAC Breda, SBV Vitesse and VVV-Venlo. Following his playing career, he moved into coaching and worked with NAC Breda before joining Reedijk at Beveren.

Molhoek played a key role in backroom team that helped Beveren achieve a record-breaking unbeaten 2025/26 campaign, before following Reedijk to Hibs.

Brian McLaughlin – First Team Coach

McLaughlin brings extensive experience of Scottish football and player development to the First Team coaching staff.

After retiring from professional football as a player, McLaughlin has spent the majority of his coaching career working in youth development, including with the Scottish FA.

He was appointed Scotland Under-17 Head Coach in 2017 and later became Scottish FA Performance School Manager, overseeing the Performance School programme across seven schools. During his time with Scotland’s youth teams, McLaughlin worked with a number of players who have gone on to represent the Scotland senior national team.

Scott Thomson – Goalkeeping Coach

Thomson will step up from the Hibernian Academy to take on the role of First Team Goalkeeping Coach.

Thomson returns to the First Team set-up, having previously worked as a goalkeeping coach between 2009 and 2014 at Hibs.

Scott has extensive experience across Scottish football, including coaching roles with Dunfermline Athletic, Dundee United and Ross County.

Guillaume Beuzelin – Individual Development Plan Coach

Hibernian FC fans’ favourite Guillaume Beuzelin also moves up from the Academy into the First Team group. The former Hibs midfielder enjoyed a four-year playing spell at Easter Road between 2004 and 2008, making 118 appearances for the Club and winning the 2007 League Cup.

Since retiring, ‘Boozy’ has developed a strong coaching background across Scottish Football, and has held several different roles within the Hibernian FC Academy across two separate spells.

Speaking about his new coaching staff, Hibernian FC First Team Manager Marink Reedijk commented: “I am really pleased with the team we have put together. It was important for me to have people around me who share the same football ideas, standards and ambition.

“Rogier and I know each other well and have worked together before, so he understands how I want our teams to play and the environment we want to create.

“Brian brings a huge amount of experience and knowledge of Scottish football and player development, while Scott and Guillaume know this Club extremely well and understand what it means to be part of Hibs.

“Having people with different experiences and strengths is important. We want to create an environment where the players can develop, perform and enjoy their football, and I am looking forward to working with everyone and what we can achieve together.”
