Season Four of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has come to an end, and with its conclusion, we welcome a new season filled with exciting content. Players can expect bug fixes, new weapon balance, new maps, modes, and enhanced gameplay mechanics. Some of this content is familiar to players from previous games and has been brought back by popular demand, while the rest is new for fans of the series.
Maps
General information about maps
A distinctive feature of all the new maps and the reworked ones is the cel-shaded design. This is somewhat unusual and not standard for a game like this. Some maps have a cartoonish texture, which causes the game to lose the realism that sets it apart from other shooters, so this change might not appeal to everyone. However, it’s worth acknowledging that the developers are not afraid to experiment. All the maps are designed for 6v6 gameplay, so they will be unavailable in modes with a larger number of players.
Bait
The map represents a small dock located in Florida. It is medium-sized, and skirmishes between enemies occur through three main routes. You can find various buildings here, such as a bait shop, a boathouse, a bar, and an ice cream parlor. Utilize all the buildings and environmental objects to shield yourself from enemy attacks and gain a strategic advantage.
Yard
The new map is set in a small checkpoint area located near a massive junkyard in the Sonoran Desert. In the center of the map stands a huge crane, around which most of the action takes place. There are two main paths where the battles will unfold, but they are connected, allowing you to catch enemies off guard. Additionally, there are plenty of auxiliary cover options like containers, old cars, and barrels.
Celship
You all know the map called “Shipment”, where you and your team battle in the dark on a small section of a container ship, creating chaos. Now, it’s about to get even more dangerous. Celship is its brighter variation. If before you could somewhat hide from the enemy to become less noticeable, here you’ll become an easy target. You’ll stand out against the vibrant colors, creating a stark contrast for the enemy’s crosshairs.
Toonoxide
This map is Rust with new textures and a twilight sky. Despite it being night outside, you and your opponents will have good visibility. The map has no shadows at all, and the moonlight will assist you in spotting enemies.
Ink House
We’re returning to Palo Alto with the Stash House map, which will now feature a black-and-white color scheme with nothing else. This will allow you to focus on enemies without being distracted by decorative elements.
New game modes
Slam Deathmatch
After you knock an opponent to the ground, you’ll need to perform a finishing move. These finishing moves will be in the style of WWE wrestling.
Arcade
Arcade is a playlist that will bring chaos to your game. After killing players, they will drop various buffs with a certain probability. These buffs can include unlimited ammo or infinite grenades. Additionally, unique weapons will spawn in specific areas of the map, further adding to the variety and excitement of the game.
COD Warrior
In this game mode, you and your friends can have a great time. The essence of the mode is that each new round features a mini-game with situations, which you rarely encounter in regular gameplay. Juggernauts versus Juggernauts, kills only with drones, you’ll find all these situations and more in this mode.
Fishfection (In-Season)
This mode is reminiscent of a zombie mode, but you turn into a fish. Your goal is to survive in this fish apocalypse or infect all other players.
Paintball (In-Season)
In this mode, it doesn’t matter what weapon you use, because one bullet is enough to win. All weapons and ammunition are replaced with paintball ones. Your task is to kill the enemy team. Loadouts do not make any sense, because the one with the best reaction will win.
Defuse or Destroy (In-Season)
Players are divided into two teams and take turns changing roles: the first destroys the object, and the second protects. The game lasts until six wins. Respawns are disabled.
Cyber Attack (In-Season)
This mode first appeared in 2019 in MW1 and became very popular among players. Players using an EMP device, must hack the enemy Data Center, after which they earn one point. There are no respawns in this mode, but players can revive their allies. The first team to score 5 points will win.
New weapons
STG44
This weapon, which started a new era in history, is equipped with 7.92x33mm ammunition. The STG44 offers an excellent balance between rate of fire, recoil, and damage, making it suitable for both aggressive assaults and medium-range engagements. Its ease of use and versatility in various game situations make it ideal for both beginners and experienced players. You can obtain it by completing Sector 7 of the battle pass.
Static-HV
This is a new SMG, which is highly effective at close range. The weapon is equipped with 5.7x28mm caliber ammunition. A key feature is its large stock capacity of 50 rounds, which is sufficient for comfortable gameplay. You can transform this weapon into a high-precision machine gun with excellent mobility for short and medium distances. You can unlock it in Sector 6 of the battle pass.
Torque 35
This weapon is a compound bow with a low rate of fire. Using such weapons requires great accuracy from the player because if you miss in a duel with another player, you will be dead. Of course, you can choose different types of arrows that will help you deal additional damage, but you shouldn’t consider it as your main weapon for collecting frags. It will become available when completing one of the weekly challenges.
Spear
The weapon is designed for close combat, which will give you the opportunity to play the role of a Spartan warrior. The weapon has high range and damage. The spear will become available after the mid-season update after completing certain challenges.
Boost services in Season 5
If you want to quickly unlock new weapons from Season 5, complete weekly challenges, or gain access to all the available gear in the game, you can use MW3 boosting. MW3 boost is becoming an increasingly popular choice among players aiming to achieve success in the game without spending excessive time. Professional MW3 boosters ensure high-quality service and complete account safety. As for MW3 boost prices, they vary depending on the complexity of the task and the desired results but always reflect the quality of the services provided. You’ll be able to reach your in-game goals swiftly without wasting time on routine tasks and fully enjoy the gameplay.
