At the Finance Committee meeting councillors will hear about plans to award £3.2 million of funding to Edinburgh Leisure to allow the body to pay the Real Living Wage and also keep all venues open.
Storm Isha – Trains at a standstill this morning
ScotRail explained that all trains in Scotland were stopped from 7pm Lon Sunday evening due to Storm Isha. This means there will be no Monday morning rush hour trains either.
Keep an eye on the ScotRail website before travelling.

Powderhall Junction
On Wednesday 24 January there will be a community engagement event at Broughton Primary School 132 Broughton Road EH7 4LD between 3.30pm and 7pm to discuss the five ways junction at Powderhall. This is approached from McDonald Road, Broughton Road east and west, St Mark’s path, and a new service/vehicular access for the development at the former Powderhall Waste Transfer Site which will include affordable housing.
