The Open Door Edinburgh has two tickets for the Edinburgh leg of Barbara Dickson’s Farewell Tour as the main prize in its Christmas Raffle.
Ms Dickson is the charity’s Patron and has kindly donated the tickets.
Raffle tickets are available for £2 each from Peggy’s Café, at 420 Morningside Road. The draw takes place on 20 December 2023 and all proceeds will go to the charity’s vital community work.
The Open Door Edinburgh has been supporting local people for more than 40 years through their Day Services for older adults, and Community Café. A spokesperson said: “We make a positive difference to people in Edinburgh as they – or their loved ones – get older.
“We are honoured that Barbara Dickson is our Patron, and beyond delighted that she has gifted two seats for her Sunday, 11 February 2024, Edinburgh show at the Festival Theatre, as the main prize for our Christmas Raffle. A very special prize indeed!
“After a musical odyssey of five decades, Barbara has decided to bid a fond farewell to her loyal fans with a string of final concerts with her much loved, and exceptionally talented band.
“Barbara’s contribution to the music world has been immeasurable. She has inspired countless artists and has left an enduring legacy that will continue to resonate with generations to come.”
The Open Door Edinburgh values your support as much as our Patron’s – please buy a book of tickets, promote us on your social media, or just come and have cup of coffee or some soup in our café, as a break from the rush towards Christmas.
Raffle tickets are available Monday to Friday from Peggy’s Café, 420 Morningside Road, EH10 5HY.
