Edinburgh Tool Library
The Edinburgh Tool Library run Tools for Life and the next sign up date is in February 2024. This is a three month long mentoring programme which teaches anyone over 16 that they can acquire the basic and fundamental skills of woodworking and DIY.
Not only do participants learn useful life skills the idea is to empower them and boost their confidence at the same time.

MagicFest begins next week and runs until Hogmanay. In anticipation of all the shows which make up the programme, Kevin Quantum has filmed some signature tricks which we are unveiling each day on Facebook.

Royal Highland Hoolie
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Friday 15 December for the second year of the Royal Highland Hoolie, two country music events taking place on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June 2024.
Presented with legendary promoters Farmers Bash, the concerts will be bigger and better than ever bringing the best of Scotland and Ireland’s homegrown talent to the Royal Highland Centre.
Friday night’s headliner, from the Highlands of Scotland, four-piece folk-pop band Tide Lines will be joined by an array of folk and country artists to kick off the concerts.
Saturday night Derek Ryan returns to headline, accompanied by more of Scotland and Ireland’s liveliest musicians promising another night of fantastic country craic.
