Scottish international Chris Empson won the third round of the summer league hosted by Bass Rock Shore Angling League.

The Dunbar-based angler (pictured) hooked into six fish for a total of 166cm in the pegged event held at Dunbar Harbour.

Codling, coley and slug fish were landed and Edinburgh’s Will Stafford was second with three fish totalling 108cm. He won the longest fish prize with one of 43cm.

Barry McEwan from Port Seton, another Scottish international and a man booked to fish in the world championships in Sicily later this year, was third with two fish for 52cm.

Shaun Gardner (North Berwick) with two fish for 51cm was fourth. The next round is on June 7 at a venue to be decided.
