In June the first Corstophine Fair since 2018 will be held at St Margaret’s Park.

There will be nearly 70 local charitable and community groups taking part, either raising funds or just raising awareness of what they do.

Chairperson Dr Forbes Howie said: “There will be entertainment in our arena, crafts in our marquee, fair rides for little ones, and the stalls include Beat the Goalie, a Dunk Tank, and Hook a Duck. The army are bringing a paint ball range and we have nerfwars at the top of the park.

“Hopefully this will be a safe, fun day out for all the family.  It runs from 11am till 4 pm on Saturday 4 June at St Margaret’s Park Corstorphine.  And don’t forget there is the Parade of Pipers at noon.”

And most importantly of all remember to take some cash as many stallholders do not have credit or debit card readers.
