EuroHockey Championships: Spain 4 (Riera, Jimenez, Oliva, Magaz), Scotland 1 (Dark)
Scotland women face Ireland on Monday (11.30am) looking to repair the damage after losing their opening game of the EuroHockey Championship in Amsterdam.
The 4-1 defeat was due to a nightmare third quarter when Spain struck three times to take the game out of reach.
The game started with Borders-born Sarah Robertson recording her 100th cap for Scotland and Bronwyn Shields winning her first.
Scotland’s only joy came in the final quarter when Emily Dark blasted home a low penalty corner to pull the scoreline back to 4-1.
Monday’s match will be shown live on BT Sport.
