A 22-year-old man was arrested following a disturbance at a property on Morrison Street yesterday afternoon.
A large number of emergency service vehicles including at least one ambulance attended the scene after reports of ‘concern for a person’.
Concerned local residence took to social media and shared photographs of the queue of cars and vans on Morrison Street.
Officers later confirmed that a man had been arrested and said that there was no threat to the wider public.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a property on Morrison Street, Edinburgh, around 3.15pm on Monday, 29 March.
“A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection. The incident was contained and there was no threat to the wider public.”
