Join Edinburgh artist and art teacher Cassandra Harrison and location artist Mark Kirkham, also known as Edinburgh Sketcher for this relaxed workshop looking at various ways to capture the world around you, and we will have some very special guests dropping in from time to time to share their thoughts too.
Over fortnightly 75 minute Zoom sessions the two artists will bring you an insight into their own practices, how they create their own art with a glimpse at the tips and techniques which they do daily, often without thinking.
By sharing how they work they will hopefully inspire you to have a go and to try something new.
As well as sharing the process they will also look at other artists’ work and the different mediums and techniques they use. they will then have a go with you, learning together.
Mark the Edinburgh Sketcher said: “I am often encouraging people to practice as much as possible and also to try many styles and techniques. By joining us every fortnight we will help you achieve this, and at the same time we hope to create a group who enjoy spending an hour drawing together, regardless of where in the world they are.”
