Police have arrested a man after reports of the theft from a Post Office in the capital.
Officers were called to Forrest Road at around 2:55pm yesterday in response to a call.
A 36-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.55pm on Wednesday, 26 August, police were called to a report of a theft from premises on Forrest Road, Edinburgh.
“Officers attended and a 36 year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing.”
