Police officers are currently searching and carrying out enquiries to trace a vulnerable 72 year-old woman who has been reported missing from her home in Edinburgh.
Lorraine Ross (72) from Lassawade Road, Edinburgh, was last seen at her home address around 10am this morning, when she left to go for a walk.
She is described as white, around 5ft 6ins in height and of slim build with short blonde /grey hair and glasses. She is wearing a brown coat, blue cardigan, blue jeans and brown boots.
Sergeant Cameron Walker from Howdenhall Police Office said: “Lorraine has dementia and has left for a walk without her bag or phone. Officers are currently carrying out a number of searches to trace her, including in the areas of Edinburgh that she usually frequents including, Cameron Toll, City Centre and Mayfield.
“I would urge anyone who has seen Lorraine, or who has any information on her whereabouts to contact Howdenhall Police Station through 101 quoting reference number 1744 of 9th August.”
