The next breakfast webinar to be hosted by Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce is entitled Business Unusual.

It is a highly topical subject as businesses reopen after the COVID-19 crisis and adapt to an unfamiliar environment.

So, on Thursday, August 27 at 10am, members will be joined by Ian McLeish of Rosslyn Associates for a one-hour webinar featuring business recovery planning.

The most important steps businesses can take to ensure they have the best chance of recovery will be featured.

These include the need to re-invent, the budget (personal and business), opportunities, vulnerabilities and critical challenges
plus identifying and managing risks.

Goals and actions will also be looked at along with pulling everything together as a complete package.

The event is free for chamber members and a spokesman said: “This is a difficult time to be a business owner.

“However, if you put some time into planning and restructuring your business, it is possible to come out of this with a stronger, more resilient business than before.”
