Hibs are inviting fans to hand in any flags or banners that they want displayed at Easter Road when top-flight football returns to the capital on 1st August.
Hibs will face Kilmarnock at home on the opening day of the 2020/21 season and supporters have already purchased cardboard cutouts of themselves or friends and family which will be placed in the East Stand.
Now the club are looking for flags and banners to cover seats and add to the atmosphere for spectators watching the games on TV.
An incredible 10,500 plus fans have bought season tickets for the forthcoming season despite not knowing when supporters will be allowed back inside the stadium and the club have guaranteed that they will all be able to watch the games on Hibernian TV.
A statement on the club’s website reads: “We know Easter Road won’t be the same until it’s packed to the rafters again, scarves held aloft with our dedicated diehards belting out Sunshine On Leith after another famous win.
“In the meantime, we want to do our best to let Jack Ross and the players know that you’re with them – even from a distance.”
Fans who would like to get involved should email commercial@hibernianfc.co.uk and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
