A mouth-watering mix of music, food and sport will ensure this year’s Super Bowl Sunday is one to remember at Stramash.

The Cowgate venue is open until 5.00am for the occasion and has something for everyone on one of the biggest days of the year on the sporting calendar.

The Six Nations clash between France and England in Paris kicks things off in the afternoon before the focus then turns to the stage with a Stramash Blues Jam featuring the best of Scotland’s blues and rock musicians.

This is then followed by popular Edinburgh folk/rock group The Gorms as the build-up to the big game in Miami between Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers continues the sporting marathon.

It will then be all systems go for Super Bowl 54 at 11.00pm, with all the action shown live on the club’s enormous 21-foot wide screen.

If all this is enough to work up an appetite, then fear not as the kitchen will be opening for an extended period, serving philly cheese steaks, stone-baked pizzas, burgers and fries well into the wee small hours.

Tables can booked for the night by contacting the venue on reservations@stramashedinburgh.com

Old Town neighbour The Globe is also going the extra mile for the Super Bowl with New York-style hot dogs being handed out for free at half-time.

There’s also a special raffle for a Miami Dolphins Landry top, with all money raised being donated to the Edinburgh Food Bank Fund.

The game will be shown on eight screens and projectors in the sports caves so there won’t be a bad seat in the house.

Customers keen to book their place can do so by reserving tables ahead of time. Drinks packages to beat the queues are also available to book in advance, served on arrival.

Entry to both venues is free.
