Grange remain on top of the men’s Premiership despite their scheduled fixture at Old Anniesland against Hillhead being postponed because of a frozen pitch.

Western Wildcats consolidated second place in the men’s Premiership with a convincing 4-1 win at Grove Menzieshill.

Bottom club Dundee Wanderers won 2-0 at Peffermill against fellow-strugglers Watsonians to close to within a point of the Edinburgh club as the basement battle hots up.

Elsewhere, Kevin Wong netted the game-tying goal with a minute left as Edinburgh University came from 3-1 down to record a 4-4 draw against Kelburne at Glasgow’s National Hockey Centre with Guy Rowson netting a double for the students.
