Hibs are holding their second Young Volunteers Football Coaching Conference at Easter Road Stadium on Thursday 17 October and Friday 18 October 2019.
The course is tailored toward High School pupils and was developed by the club’s Community Foundation who hope to nurture young talent as well as promoting healthier and more active lifestyles.
The conference aims to cover a number of relevant and stimulating topics pertinent to coaches looking to jumpstart their passion for football into a career and create an environment where young people can learn and be relaxed as well as developing their CVs.
On the first day those attending will go on a tour of Easter Road and will get to see behind the scenes of the stadium.
This will be followed by practical sessions and workshops plus an opportunity to network and the chance to get involved in volunteer coaching.
Day two will be especially beneficial for the attendees aged 16 and over as they complete an SFA Level 1 Coach education Course.
The inaugural event last year attracted nearly 100 Young Leaders and Sports Ambassadors from 19 High Schools throughout the community.
