Children from Corstorphine Primary School in Edinburgh took part in an interactive PowerWise safety session at The Risk Factory safety centre as part of SP Energy Networks’ PowerWise Awareness Month.

PowerWise is an exciting online educational resource packed full of fun missions, video and tasks. It has been developed by the business to help children understand how to stay safe around electricity at home, at school or when playing outside.  The website also teaches them how electricity is generated and gets from the power station to plug.

SP Energy Networks is encouraging parents and teachers in Edinburgh to visit powerwise.org.uk and challenge their children to take part in a fun safety mission with Sparky the PowerWise mascot.

SP Energy Networks owns and manages overhead and underground powerlines in Southern and Central Scotland as well as Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and North Shropshire. For more information about SP Energy Networks and its services, visit: spenergynetworks.co.uk
