Edinburgh-based artist Julie Galante is selling her work for only two more days.
Julie specialises in cityscapes, landscapes, and figure paintings. She works primarily in oil, acrylic, and mixed media techniques which combine layers of drawing and painting. Her original art can be purchased online until 5 December 2018 here.
Julie Galante and her husband Scott Roland were less than a year away from permanent residency in the UK when he died of leukaemia in 2017.
As her visa was connected to his, this left Julie struggling to find a way to stay in her home in Edinburgh after his death.
Eventually she found a path to remain; when she switches to a student visa later this month, however, she will no longer be permitted to sell her artwork.
