Re-born Murrayfield Racers travel to Solway Sharks on Sunday in the National Ice Hockey League Cup looking to end a run of three straight defeats.
Tony Hand, the club’s director of hockey, said: “It will be another tough match but I feel the players are benefiting from the experience of playing higher level teams.”
He confirmed that one of his injured players should make his comeback but the club are still short of four other regulars.
The bus leaves Murrayfield at 1.30pm if you wish to travel to Dumfries.
Elsewhere, Paisley Pirates host Kilmarnock Thunder in the SRC West and Kirkcaldy Kestrels entertain Dundee Comets in the SRC East.
