Edinburgh Monarchs hope to stage a working party at the Armadale track this weekend, weather permitting.

Meanwhile, club bosses are trying to raise much-needed sponsorship cash following the loss of their team sponsorship.

Co-promoter John Campbell said securing new advertising and sponsorship is all the more important for the club in 2018.

The main team sponsorship is still available and this would allow a business to be spotlighted throughout the UK.

Advertising space is offered on banners on the club’s air safety barrier which surrounds the track. Sponsors would have their name displayed each week throughout the season for £400.

A range of spaces are available in the weekly match magazine with prices starting at £75. It is £650 for a full-page advertisement.

The race card of the match magazine offers the chance to sponsor one of races throughout the season for £300.

Hospitality suites at Armadale offer the best view of the race circuit and companies can entertain staff and customers in a low-cost environment.

Food and drink is included for £1,000 for 30 guests. All prices quoted are subject to VAT at 20%
