Sam Judge, coach to Edinburgh University

Edinburgh University are still in pole position in women`s Division One after dominating their game against Dundee-based Grove Menzieshill.

However, Sam Judge’s squad failed to take their chances and were held to a 0-0 draw. The result leaves the students in pole position but Milne Craig Clydesdale Western move to within two points of the champions after a 4-0 win over GHK.

Watsonians created the biggest upset with a 2-0 win over fourth placed Western Wildcats thanks to goals from Heather Tait and Mairi Shaw.

Dundee Wanderers are now threatening a top four spot after beating Grange 5-2, Amy Snelle and Emily Dark both scored twice.

In the men’s league, Bromac Kelburne moved to within a point of Grange with a 4-1 win over Hillhead.

Western Wildcats returned to winning ways with a 4-1 win over bottom side Inverleith at Peffermill. Andrew McConnell netted a treble with Magnus Ferrier scoring for the home side.

Grove Menzieshill confirmed third place in the table with a 4-0 win at Edinburgh University with goals from Albert Rowling, Gavin Tomlinson, Cameron Golden and Gavin Byers.
