EuroHockey Indoor Championship, Division Two (women): Pool B: Scotland 1, Croatia 1; Pool C: Sweden 2, Scotland 1.

Scotland are fighting relegation from Division Two of the EuroHockey Indoor Championship.

They drew 1-1 with Croatia in their final Pool B clash, Dundee-born Vikki Bunce (Beeston) netting, to finish third in the four-strong group on goal difference.

Then Chris Anderson’s squad lost 2-1 to Sweden in their first game in the relegation group, Emily Dark (Dundee Wanderers) scoring.

They face Lithuania on Sunday in their final game requiring a win to stay up.

And they will be minus Louise Campbell (Edinburgh University) who looks to have suffered a dislocated shoulder.

Coach Anderson said: “We hammered Sweden and lost 2-1 and I’m proud (of the performance) despite the loss.

“We’ve set a new benchmark with that performance and we’ll be looking for the same against Lithuania. We’re going for the win.”
