Edinburgh to Oman is now possible thanks to Oman Air and Flybe’s new through fares.
They start from £450 and build on the success of Oman Air’s double daily flights from London Heathrow and the daily flight from Manchester Airport.
Guests can also book the through fares from Aberdeen and Glasgow.
This means that travellers will be able to fly form their local airport to Oman’s capital of Muscat without the hassle of having to check their bags in for a second time.
Simon Cook, the airline’s Country Manager UK & Ireland, said: “The success of our London and Manchester routes demonstrates the growing popularity of Oman as both a holiday and business travel destination.
“We are confident that working with Flybe to offer the new fares will cement the special connection we have built with the UK over the last ten years.”
Meanwhile, Oman Air is currently engaged in an ambitious expansion programme which will see the carrier operate 70 aircraft to around 75 destinations by 2023.
