Edinburgh Monarchs were the latest team to fall victim to Championship pace-setting Sheffield Tigers when they skidded to a 55-35 defeat at Owlerton.
The victory was Sheffield’s tenth straight and former Glasgow Tigers star Josh Grajczonek powered to a 12-point maximum.
Kyle Howarth also collected 12 points but from five starts and Edinburgh’s best was Ricky Wells.
The American top scored for Monarchs with 12 points and Aussie racer Josh Pickering collected ten points from six rides but Tigers were 22-14 ahead after only six races and never looked back.
