The draw for the first stage of the Betfred Cup – the League Cup as was – was made on Friday evening.
Hearts have been drawn with Dunfermline Athletic, Peterhead, East Fife and Elgin City.
Hibernian have been drawn with Ross County, Montrose, Alloa and Arbroath.
Edinburgh City have been drawn with Motherwell, Morton, Queens Park and Berwick Rangers.
Celtic, Aberdeen, Rangers and St Johnstone receive a bye into the second round of the competition due to their involvement in European tournaments.
The ties are due to be played between 15th and 29th July with some of them being broadcast on BT Sport.
