The Argentine Steakhouse CAU Restaurants in Castle Street have a new set menu, and it’s good news for discerning diners. The two course meal will be £10.95 and the three course option will cost £12.95. And it’s not just available at lunchtime. It is on offer for pre-theatre goers or early diners until 6.30pm.
The all new set menu will have many of their favourite dishes as well as some new ones, and you are promised speedy service and quality cuisine.
Salt and pepper squid and fish tacos might tickle your taste buds, of blue tortillas with a smoky chipotle mayo could be a good choice. Aubergine lasagne for the vegetarians among you piled high with aubergine tomato melted cheese and fresh basil.
Then there is the Tapa De Cuadril which is served in the Brazilian fashion – thinly sliced steak from the top of the rump, flash grilled so that it melts in your mouth.
Afterwards pander to your sweet tooth with Dulce de Leche pancakes with vanilla ice cream and caramel. A piece of Buenos Aires in the city centre, so all you will need to use up the calories is a wee tango on the way home!
