Hearts have announced that striker Juanma has returned to his homeland on a season-long loan deal to Spanish side UCAM Murcia. The deal is up to 30 June 2017 and it remains to be seen if the Spaniard will return to Tynecastle next summer.

Meanwhile, a forward Hearts currently have on loan – Tony Watt – has been called up to the Scotland squad ahead of their World Cup qualifier this Sunday in Malta.

Watt – on loan to the Gorgie club from Charlton Athletic – was given the call after Celtic’s Leigh Griffiths withdrew from the national squad due to injury.

Watt becomes the third Hearts player to be called into the Scotland squad following the inclusion of goalkeeper Jack Hamilton and defender Callum Paterson – who, at the time of writing, remains a Hearts player despite interest from English Championship side Wigan Athletic.

Meanwhile, the SPFL have announced that Hearts forthcoming Premiership fixture at Motherwell, due on Saturday 1st October, has been switched to Friday 30th September for television coverage by BT Sport. Kick-off is 7.45pm.

Hearts Premiership fixture against Rangers at Tynecastle, due on Saturday 22nd October, is another game which has been provisionally moved – to Friday 21st October, kick-off 7.45pm. This is subject to Rangers being involved in the semi-finals of the Betfred League Cup, scheduled for that weekend.

Hearts will confirm details of the Rangers game in due course.
